AMALIA! - UN'OPERA WESTERN

AMALIA! makes opera and film one.

A classical Western, side-by-side on stage and screen. Classical opera and an original soundtrack, combined with an artful electronic Alpine soundscape.

Inclose collaboration with the fashion label Luis Trenker, who provided the costumes, and the South Tyrol tourism collective Schnalstal, AMALIA!, is aWestern in the tradition of Sergio Leone shot on location in the breathtaking Ötztal-Alps.

AMALIA!combines music, film and fashion into one unique cultural experience! Premiered to great success in February 2019 at the sold-out State Theater of Bozen.

AMALIA!is an award-winning submission of “Fringe” with the Haydn Foundation of Bozenand Trient.
